Inspection of Rubber Insulating Gloves
Ensure that rubber insulating gloves are free from holes or leaks before use. The compact size of the inflator makes it convenient for transportation and glove inspection in the field. To inspect, the glove is secured to the inflator with a nylon strap and fastened using a hook-and-pile closure. Simply inflate the glove by pressing the inflator’s bellow against any surface. Electrical insulating gloves must be inspected prior to every use, and the process is made easier with a portable glove inflator, especially for Class 00, Class 0, and smaller gloves. The Insula® IG99 provides a reliable solution for field inspections, offering an efficient way to ensure glove safety by inflating and checking them for damage.
